While some of the ideas to support your healthy living can be very simple and straightforward, the others may need a bit of work to help you turn back the clock and make you look younger.

Eating right diet is not only getting a decent amount of fiber, fruits and vegetables in your diet each day. As you age you need to start taking some necessary nutrients and vitamins to ensure proper supply of those to keep a proper digestion and metabolism. This great food source is going to keep you feeling and looking good in every way.

Exercise is important in any age but it is even more important when you grow older. Regular physical activity is getting the blood really flowing in your body to bring oxygen and the essential nutrients to the organs of your body to keep them in perfect health and make your skin fresh looking. All these nutrients will keep the pesky wrinkles and creases at bay. With that said, the exercises which are good for young people not always fit the requirements of older people. You simply need to know what physical activities you should be doing at any age to keep your bones, joints and muscle flexible long into your life.

Good Night's Sleep -- Some people find that sleep is the thing that they can live with minimal amounts of it in their life. However, research and studies show that good night's sleep is just as essential as any other part of your daily routine and especially for women. Sleep is not only what is going to give you that extra boost every day but good night's sleep is when you let your batteries recharge and strengthen your immune system. All of those great vitamins and minerals that you have been eating will really pay off while you sleep.

And that's only the tip of the iceberg -- In order to stay healthy and look young you need to have to balanced lifestyle based on a good diet for your age, the right amount of good night's sleep to rejuvenate your body, and as much exercise that fit your age as possible.

About 50 million women are entering the second half of their lives and we all want to know what they really want and expect from their further life. It's not surprising to discover that society looks at midlife as just being that – midlife, menopause, empty nest, gray hair and wrinkles. But, is it all about the gray hair, a few wrinkles or even hitting the big 5-0.

When Time Magazine asked this question they discovered eye opening answer – It is not what many people think – The older women today want so much more in their midlife and they willingly share views and stories regarding positive and successful aging experiences. Moreover, not only have they shared their wonderfully delightful stories, they have also revealed their hopes, expectations and goals for the second half of their lives.

Many of these stories tell of women looking forward to this time of their life as a time of the new beginning. Inside of each woman live hopes, dreams, talents, and the potential for a joyful, rich life. Many of them are looking for renewal and of exploring new areas of interest and of the “freedom to be whole and who I really want to be”.

It's wonderful to see how freely women speak of lessons learned, wisdom granted, and the ability to look ahead to accepting new challenges. For many of these women growing older simply is a fantastic gift that comes with age.

And if you happen to be in your 40s -- What do you really want? This is not an easy of a question to ask but -- What about you?

We compiled some questions to consider if you need a help to answer those questions:

  • Can you tell -- What is the most important thing in your life?

  • Have you any special talents? Are you strong in any particular areas? Imagine waking up one morning to find that you are using your unique talents in a fully satisfying way, that you feel wonderful in your body, and that your life feels rich and complete.

  • What are you passions? What are the things that get you up every morning? What makes your toes tingle and your soul quicken?

  • Can you name 3-5 things that make you most proud of? Something that you have accomplished in your life? If you were at the end of your life, what would you need to have accomplished so that you have no regrets about anything.

Answering these questions will help you find your passions, priorities and your life’s purpose. Now you know what action you need to take so that the second half of your life is truly extraordinary -- It’s time to start doing, it's time to start living it.

We women, each of us, have much more to give than just trying to achieve a cultural beauty standard. You are beautiful right now, exactly as you are -- so now it is the right time to take care of your health.

With these key ideas that have been shown above every women can stay healthy at any age and look younger if they start implementing these principles into personal life and enjoy from the changes in the health, quality of life and appearance.
